Attorney John Malone
Attorney John Malone is a Partner at Tetzel Law, LLC. John joined Attorney Tetzel within months of the firm’s inception and has been vital in its significant growth since that time. He has been recognized by the Massachusetts Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star” in 2018, an honor no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive each year. John is devoted to achieving the highest level of results for his clients, taking an aggressive and detailed approach to every complex legal matter. He prides himself on active communication with his clients throughout the entirety of each case in order to promote a comfortable experience. John’s approach has led to various successes, including jury trial verdicts, arbitration awards and significant settlements.
John represents clients in both State and Federal courts in an array of complex civil litigation matters, including nursing home negligence and abuse, consumer protection statute (G.L. c. 93A) violations, wrongful insurance claim denials, premises liability, professional malpractice, construction accidents, wrongful death as well as insurance coverage and contract disputes. John also has experience in the Probate and Appellate Courts.
John attended Suffolk University Law School in the evening while working full-time during his entire school career at Greater Boston law firm. John is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at the State and Federal levels as well as in the State of Rhode Island. He is member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, Massachusetts Bar Association and Rhode Island Bar Association.
John grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts where he went to high school. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. At Bentley, John flourished in both academics and athletics as he graduated Cum Laude and captained the football team in his senior season. In addition, he was selected to the Northeast-10 All-Academic Team three years in a row, the ESPN Academic Northeast All-American Team twice and the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society in his final season.
John currently lives in Boston with his wife, Kelly. Outside of work, they primarily enjoy spending time with their families. John also enjoys all forms of health & fitness and is an avid Boston sports fan.
