Paul Tetzel is a trial lawyer, representing individuals in serious and catastrophic personal injury cases, construction site accidents, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence cases. He has been recognized by the Massachusetts Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star” from 2016 to 2020, an honor no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive each year. Paul also has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2021 edition. Paul’s recent successes include a $1,750,000 medical malpractice settlement, $1,250,000 motor vehicle settlement, $1,150,000 nursing home negligence settlement as well as a $209,000 premise liability jury verdict.
In addition to Paul’s litigation and trial work, he also manages Tetzel Law’s practice which includes six attorneys and support staff. Paul founded Tetzel Law in 2014 based on principles of efficiency, attention to detail, active communication with clients, and aggressive representation through litigation or trial. The firm only represents individuals or small businesses and takes pride in holding insurance companies and corporations accountable when necessary.
Paul represents clients in both State and Federal courts in a broad range of civil litigation cases, including nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, product liability, automobile collisions, wrongful death, construction site accidents and bad-faith insurance claims. He has successfully resolved his cases through trial, mediation, or settlement, many of which resulted in six and seven figure recoveries.
Paul attended Suffolk University Law School in the evening while working full-time at a boutique Greater Boston law firm. He is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and is currently on MATA’s Board of Governors. Paul is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Boston Bar Association.
Paul is originally from Central Massachusetts and obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management from Bentley University. At Bentley, he was a Division II First Team All-American defensive back and captain his senior season, as well as a three-time All-Academic selection.
Paul lives north of Boston with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys golf, racquetball and is an avid sports fan.
